Hello MHS Class of 1990!
WOW!!! Well....We did it!! Our Reunion was a BLAST!! It was GREAT to see everyone!! We are so happy that we all had a chance to reconnect with one another......I have posted our reunion pics......they are on our Class Facebook and MySpace. I posted them via...Facebook, My Space, Classquest or I will add a link to our class website that will allow everyone to view the photos, order, purchase etc. etc.......being that there are too many pics to upload individually one by one....BECAUSE you all know that I was CAMERA happy all four days!! lol.....just give me some time to recover....hehe!
We were all SOOOO happy to see everyone having such a good time!! Stay tuned for more updated information.....we will keep this site open so that we are able to communicate with all of you and share important information as to what we have going on with upcoming events, reunions, get togethers, summer reunion etc. etc.----LET'S KEEP in touch!! MHS CLASS of 1990 ROCKS!!
This is the itinerary we have put together:
Thursday, October 29th – 5:30pm Homecoming Parade & 6:00pm Bon Fire then at 7:30pm get together at the Chili's/4901 E. Expressway 83, in Mercedes (Bar Area)
(We will be meeting at Auto Zone parking lot - 401 S. Texas Ave, bring your own chairs if possible)
Mercedes High School
Friday, October 30th – 1:45pm thru 4:15pm Reception/Tour of the
school/Pep Rally
(We will be meeting at the MHS school library at 1:45pm)
7:30pm Homecoming Game @ Tiger Stadium
9:30pm/10ish Buffalo Wings & Rings/1600 N. Westgate
in Weslaco
Saturday, October 31st – 8:00pm Semi-Formal Dinner & Dance (Adults Only)
@ First National Ballroom/334 S. Texas – Mercedes
We will have Mrs. Marcy Martinez (former Civics Teacher of Mercedes High School) as a special guest joining us for the evening
Sunday, November 1st – 1:00pm Fall Festival/Hawaiian Luau/Family Picnic/BBQ (hosted by David Carrasco at his beautiful home/1324 Mile 2 1/2 East & 3/4-Mercedes) We will be playing the very best of the 80's, 90's and all....the music that we all LOVE!!We are asking for each family/class alumni to bring their favorite side dish/casserole/bbq trimmings and or yummy sweet treats/desserts to share along with your favorite family beverages (kid drinks for the kiddos & adult drinks for you) hehe!! The BBQ (Fajitas, Sausage, Chicken etc.) will be provided but if you wish to bring something special that you would like to grill up - bring it along - we are more than sure that Abel and the guys will not mind grilling it up for you!! LOL!!
Come join us for some GREAT BBQ as we come together to celebrate

If the weather is not too cold......you may also bring your swimwear for you and your kiddos so that you can go swimming......the SWIMMING POOL will be waiting for you!! WHAT?? We are in the VALLEY!! too COLD!! Yea RITE!! lol!!
Come dressed in your best "Fall clothes or Hawaiian attire".....it's up to you!! Either way.......please JOIN US!!

Our t-shirt order was already placed and the shirts have arrived for those that did email us or notified us that you were wanting a shirt and submitted payment for it. We only have shirts for those that did place an order with us but we can possibly look into getting some extra ones (we can't guarantee it though) =( but we will see what we can do. We will be placing an order after the reunion for those that were not able to join us and would like a shirt as a memento from our 20 year reunion.
